What is an ASR file?
An ASR file is an ActionScript file created with Adobe Dreamweaver that is loaded and run on server-side. It is also often created by Contribute HTML editor that has now been discontinued long ago. ASR file contains script written in the standard scripting language and has the capability to access built-in server-based features in ColdFusion.

ASR file contains script that is developed in standard scripting language. It can be opened with Adobe Dreamweaver, Contribute HTML Editor, and any text editors such as Notepad, and Notepad++.
