An AMXX file is an AMX Mod X plugin file used by first-person shooter video game such as Half-Life developed by the Valve Corporation in 1998. AMXX is used in conjunction with MetaMod plugin management system that allows multiple plugins to run simultaneously on a server without conflicts. AMXX files are plugins that are saved in proprietary file formats. The former version of AMXX plugin is AMX which was used by AMX Mod, the predecessor of AMX Mod X.
